Recap: What an great morning! It started a little cold and got colder. There was a nice showing “crazy people”, many in costumes, looking to punish their legs on this beautiful course. The trails were in great shape! They were however lacking the usual mud/snow conditions, but we didn’t hear many complaints about this.

Congrats, and thank you to all who participated, and thanks to all who supported us and our cause, including volunteers and sponsors. We hope to see you again next year.  Make sure to check out the Results.

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the annual Up-N-Over Hill Climb!  We are excited for another year of great fun! So come join us, October 29, 2011 10 am, bring your friends and family, and test yourself against the mountain while enjoying the beauty of fall!

We know many who read this will think… “5K/10K??? I run Half Marathons, Marathons or Ultras. I don’t want to bother with a little race like this.” Well think again. Lets just say the Up-N-Over is no jog in the park.

With more than 1500 ft of climbing in the first 5K, your legs will be on fire. Whether you are running, walking, or a little of both, you will be happy to see the parking lot at the top of the pass. This is where the 5K participants will finish. From there, the 10K participants will have beautiful descent into Ogden Valley, losing 950 ft over the second 5K, but don’t forget about the punishing hill just before you arrive at Wolf Mountain Ski Resort where the finish line will be waiting, along with some live music, great food, all your admiring fans and some great prizes from our sponsors.

The Up-N-Over is excellent race for all skill levels. If this is your first 5K/10K, come hike it and run the downhill. If you are an ultra runner, come see how you do on short climb like this. No matter the level, it will push you. We guarantee.

The Up-N-Over has all the things you love about trail running in the fall. The beautiful colors, the cool temperatures, good friends and good food. Now put them all together into one great event and you get the Up-N-Over.
